Fabric Labortory

experimenting with the fabric that was given to us was lots of Fun.. The cotton/lycra and the wool lycra are beautiful fabrics. The cotton is stiffer, while the wool is soft and subtle.

using fabrics trends I found on WGSN and the trend journal Textile View 2, I played, pleated, soaked, drenched, manipulated, stitched, painted, teared, snipped, folded and burned the two fabrics

playing with the fabric gave me an idea of how it will handle and the effects I could achieve. It was very very inspiring and helped me develop the direction of the fabric aesthetics that I wanted to design
